Drying time refers to the time required for the protective agent to fully penetrate and dry on the wooden surface. The ideal drying time ensures that the protective agent provides maximum protection against moisture, mold, insects, and UV rays. A protective agent that has not dried sufficiently can lead to undesired stickiness, discoloration, or inadequate protection on the wood. Additionally, applying other treatments or using the wood before the protective agent has fully dried can shorten its lifespan. Therefore, waiting for the protective agent to dry completely is crucial for preserving the durability and aesthetics of the wood.
